Title : Akshay kit project Date : 29 Aug 2022 Cost : 480000 Direct Beneficiaries : 40 Man hours : 60 Rotarians Involved : 15 Rotaractors Involved : 0 Description : RC Porbandar And Innerwheel Club was pleased to continue the Akshay Project in association with Government TB Hospital under Initiative Ni Shay Mitra. RC Porbandar have adopted 40 TB patients identified by the Jilla Kshay Kendra where RC Porbandar will be taking care of their monthly requirement of Healthy Diet and Also now would be involved in Followup with the patients as a friend. These follow-ups will be conducted every fornight by Rotary Volunteers. The kit cost is around 1000 per kit and to start 40 such kits will be distributed every month by Rotary Club. This project is under taken by Rotary Club of Porbandar since 2018 and with such efforts by Govt. Officials & RC Porbandar , the Region has seen almost 50% reduction in TB patients.
